Help for a thank you letter after recieving a nice fruit basket?

Dear Fruitsender,

I%26#039;m writing to say how very much we enjoyed your recent gift. It was completely unexpected, and I couldn%26#039;t say when I%26#039;ve had pears so sweet and creamy. The grapefruits were also wonderful.

Thanks so much for the lovely basket. What a thoughtful gesture.

Sincerely,

Punky

Help for a thank you letter after recieving a nice fruit basket?
Just like pretty much any other thank you note. Short and sweet.

Dear ???,

Thank you for thinking about me. I just had one of the apples and it was great.

I hope you%26#039;re doing well.

Sincerly / Love,

your name

Feel free to expand but the point of a thank you note is to simply acknowledge the thought.

Reply:First it depends who sent you that fruit basket. Start with the standard salutation which also depends on the relationship which you have with the sender. Then give a detail about how you enjoyed each and every fruit and how quickly you ate that all. :)
Reply:Dear Giver:

What a delight to see that wonderful, colorful basket of fresh fruit! How thoughtful of you to think of us so! We will enjoy the sweetness of your gift as we think of how sweet you are, too!

Thank you ever so much! -- Recipient

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
Reply:Don%26#039;t bother. Just say thanks.
Reply:Thank you kindly for your basket

which I didn%26#039;t mean to ask it

but I%26#039;ll very gladly take it

and when it%26#039;s full of fruit it

will frequently remind me

of the friends I have behind me

(not written by me, it%26#039;s from a book)
